MENA buyers among international visitor targets
Interest in the 2026 fair is already reflected in stand sales. Around 3 months before the opening, 90% of exhibition space had been sold, while organizers expect 80,000 domestic and international visitors.
Visitor outreach is focused on Germany, Belgium, Greece, Romania, France, Italy and Poland, alongside the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The four MENA markets are part of the fair’s wider effort to attract professional buyers from different regions to Istanbul. The country mix gives the event a regional dimension spanning Europe and MENA.

British nationals ranked first in Betterhomes’ Dubai transaction data for March and April 2026, ahead of Indian, Australian and Egyptian buyers. While such rankings show the prominence of British demand, wider research provides another layer by examining buyer intentions and spending power.

At the end of September, Moscow will become a three-day meeting point for fashion industries from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe. Over previous seasons, the Summit has brought together experts from 109 countries and has become an important hub for the global professional community. In a world where fashion businesses increasingly face barriers and tariffs, the BRICS+ Fashion Summit connects the most dynamic markets, bringing together experts from different parts of the value chain – from raw material suppliers to distributors – and providing investors with access to the creative industries of fast-growing countries.

The agreement, signed in Taicang, China, establishes a long-term technology partnership with contractual capacity to supply up to 10,000 humanoid robots per year over the five-year term, subject to adjustment based on project progress, technical validation, and the expansion of commercial applications. For Manuel Zau Polo, President of No Competition Infinity Gaming, the partnership marks a significant step in the company’s strategy to connect digital environments with real-world applications.

The competition returns in a team format, built around the work cybersecurity professionals actually do: analyzing real-world incidents, developing practical solutions and presenting them to experienced industry experts. The competition will culminate in a live final on 18 September 2026 at GISEC Global, Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, where the top five teams will present and defend their solutions before an expert judging panel and compete for the top three positions, with a total prize pool of AED 20,000.

The UAE presents some of the most demanding conditions for home air conditioning anywhere in the world. With summer temperatures regularly exceeding 45°C and sustained heat that places continuous pressure on cooling systems, UAE households, particularly those in villas and larger residential properties, require equipment that is built for local realities, not simply rated for them. The VoxIN JetMax has been designed with precisely these conditions in mind.

Under the agreement executed with media conglomerate The Walt Disney Company, participating restaurant locations will launch three limited-time personal pizzas inspired by iconic characters from the feature film. The promotional menu features the Space Ranger Roni topped with double pepperoni, the Sheriff’s Round Up featuring barbecue sauce and grilled chicken, and Reach for the Pie topped with Italian sausage and banana peppers. Additionally, locations in the United States will introduce a custom Rootin’ Tootin’ Ranch Dip cup. The campaign includes collectible character items featuring Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie, available alongside eligible menu purchases across 43 participating global territories.

Delays happen. Technical faults happen. Aircraft sometimes return to their point of departure for legitimate safety reasons, and no responsible passenger would ask a captain to compromise safety merely to protect a timetable. But safety cannot become a catch-all alibi for everything that follows. It may explain the return to Dubai. It does not explain the confusion, indecision, deteriorating hygiene or gradual abandonment of families with infants, elderly travellers and passengers with onward connections. What followed was not merely a disruption. It was neglect with a flight number.
